Renaiss Health is looking to bring forward proposals for the redevelopment of Hermes House
We’re excited to share our vision for a new Renaiss Health physical rehabilitation centre in Tunbridge Wells, and this website serves as an information guide to our proposals. You are also able to give feedback using the form at the bottom of this page.
Who are Renaiss Health
Renaiss Health is an independent UK healthcare business, backed by Bridges Fund Management, a leading investor in projects that make a positive difference.
We are a new business which has been set up specifically to address the growing need in post operative physical rehabilitation, with our first site in Richmond currently under construction. Our centres will help people get back on their feet with short stays (typically around a week), our focus is on building strength, restoring mobility, and supporting independence.
Our teams include skilled nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists and other specialists, all dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. Wherever possible, we recruit locally and work with local suppliers, because we want to become part of the community we serve.
Why It Matters
We all know someone who’s faced a difficult recovery after leaving hospital. People are often discharged quickly but still need support to get back to their normal lives.
That’s where we come in: our centres bridge the gap between hospital and home, giving patients the care, confidence, and time they need to recover properly and avoid setbacks.

The Proposal
Our plans include 55 ensuite bedrooms, alongside specialist spaces such as a hydrotherapy pool, gym, therapy rooms, a restaurant and welcoming lounge areas.
The building will sit further back from neighbouring homes than the already-approved residential scheme, with carefully considered access and landscaping.

Design & Landscaping
We want the building to feel like a natural part of Tunbridge Wells. Thoughtful design, high-quality materials, and energy-efficient features, will help it blend with the local character.
Landscaping plays a key role, with green spaces and a central courtyard designed for relaxation and wellbeing.
